What I Love about UC Academy: I enjoy being here because it is obvious to me that God has called me to this school and it is always good to be where God wants you. I love junior high students, so this is a perfect match! Having worked in Christian education for 36 years, I have been with a large number of teachers. This is the best group I have ever been blessed to be with. All of them love the students, have a passion for what they are teaching and have a great time interacting together as a team. It is a joy to come to "work" each morning.

What I Love about UC Academy: What I love about UCA is how we are able to have smaller classroom sizes, which allows us, as teachers, the ability to work with students one-on-one and focus on their specific needs.

What I Love about UC Academy: I love the close relationships and the wonderful family atmosphere that we have here at UCA. Every day I thank God for allowing me to work with such a supportive group of people. Rarely does a day go by without someone (a student, a parent, a co-worker) doing something that makes me feel loved. I also love watching as God surprises us time and time again with evidence of his love for our school. The hard times we shared and the miracles that we have seen take place on our campus have increased my faith. God really does turn all things to good for those who love him.

What I Love about UC Academy: I have always loved the sense of community and family that Upland Christian Academy cultivates. As a parent, I love that my children are truly nurtured and cared for by their teachers, while, at the same time, the teachers have high expectations and standards. As a teacher, I love that the parents and teachers are able to work together to encourage the students to strive for mastery and do their best academically. Most importantly, UCA is a place where Jesus is present, working miracles in the lives of students and families.

What I Love about UC Academy: I love working at a place where academic excellence and spiritual development are the two priorities. As Elementary Principal, I am thrilled to have the students yell a greeting to me from across the campus, as if it was the most important thing to them that they tell me "Hello." As a junior high Bible teacher, I have always loved sharing and teaching God's Word to young people who are at an age where the world can be upside-down, and to be able to see their faces when they realize that God turns it right-side up.
