As a junior, Wagner was named to the National Christian School Athletic Association All-America Third Team. Wagner was a member of the All-Inland Valley Third Team and the All-Arrowhead League First Team. Her squad won the CIF Southern Section volleyball championship in 2009 and finished runner-up in 2010. As a junior and senior, Wagner earned All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) First Team honors in the Southern Section of District IV. Wagner is more than ready to begin her collegiate volleyball career. "I chose Cedarville because of its strong commitment to Christ, not only as a university but as a volleyball program. The team was so welcoming and friendly, and after practicing with the players and spending time with Coach Walters I knew Cedarville was the right fit for me. No other school I looked at was as dedicated to spiritual, academic and personal growth." Coach Walters sees Wagner as a great fit for the CU volleyball program. "We are excited to have Hannah join the volleyball family at Cedarville. She is a great person from an awesome family. Hannah is extremely talented on and off the court, and she will add a great deal to our team. We are ready for some of her southern California charm to be brought to rural Ohio. We look forward to what Hannah will do for our program as we continue into the NCAA!"Hannah is the daughter of Steve and Michelle Wagner of Claremont, California. |
